Advertising links

On two occasions now I have found adware on my computer that makes links from key words on my blog posts. When I discover them I remove them. It's unfair for these companies to use my site to advertise their products which I neither get compensated for or even endorse. I do sometimes use links in my posts so for now at least if you see a single word link such as "book" or something similar don't click it.

Here I Am

"It's not the camera, it's the photographer". I have always strived to live by that philosophy in my photography. However secretly, I am a bit of a gearhead. Okay not so secret. This year I believe I have got the most advanced camera system I will ever have. Meet Mustang Sally.

In this photo the camera has a Hasselblad 80mm 2.8 lens attached. This camera is so advanced yet is able to work happily with a 40 year old lens. I love this camera and with the lenses I have I can get images that are sharp, sharp, sharp. It is also large and heavy. It isn't something I would want to take with me when I am doing other stuff like bike riding (although I have) or grocery shopping.

I don't think there are a lot of people haven't stopped when they saw something and thought "I wish I had a camera right now". I decided I needed something for when Photography wasn't the goal. So I went out and got.... Mr Ed

That would be the tiny little thing in front of Mustang Sally. It's a great little camera and seems to have a good reputation. One neat aspect is it has wifi so while out doing whatever and I happen to catch a photo I can transfer it over to the phone or tablet and upload to the internet while still out. Plus it is truly pocketable.

This is where I will post those photos whenever I get them. I will make one promise that you won't be seeing photos of my lunch or dinner on here. Unless of course, it happens to be a really great shot. I am looking forward to going out with an eye for anything I might spot and to posting some here. I hope you will come by and look.

Brook

Care to share what Mr. Ed is? Looking forward to your upcoming Mr. Ed shots....gee why is it that I suspect they're going to be great? Oh yeah...because it's not all about the equipment.
